Product Introduction:
Daruwin's food-grade graphite EPS granules are a raw foaming material dedicated to food contact foam packaging boxes. They are based on regular EPS that have an upgraded formula and process control. Contrary to common white EPS, it is a new product that contains evenly distributed graphite microparticles inside the granules which allow the material to keep its lightness, at the same time giving the properties of increased thermal insulation, better temperature stability, and higher structural integrity to the material. This is a foam packaging material that can both hold food and provide insulation.

Where is it mainly used?
Food-grade graphite EPS granules are mainly used for food-related materials such as:
Food-grade foam packaging boxes
Fresh produce and seafood insulation boxes
Chilled meat and aquatic product transport boxes
Fruit and vegetable preservation foam boxes Insulated outer boxes for takeaway food containers
Cold chain packaging for cooked food and pre-prepared meals Food-grade cold chain turnover boxes
Why is Graphite EPS more suitable for food packaging?
Daruwin's EPS Graphite granules for Food grade Box have a thermal conductivity of about 0.033 W/(m·K), which explains why ice packs stay cold longer, the food temperature is better maintained, and the freshness is kept for a longer time. Graphite EPS comprises a closer-cell dense structure and a more evenly-distributed foaming, hence they tend to shed fewer particles, are odorless, and resistant to mold and water-induced deformation. The molded product also has enough strength and stability, with the compressive strength being 0.5–0.6 MPa, thus it is resistant to collapse and damage not only during stacking but also in transportation and delivery. This, for packaging manufacturers, symbolizes not only the super-product performances but also and comprehensive optimizing of the yield rate, delivery stability, and long-term costs.

Daruwin's Factory
Being a new materials manufacturing enterprise that has an annual production capacity of 240,000 tons, we mainly produce the EPS and graphite EPS raw materials, hence our food packaging customers can get professional, stable, and efficient support from us. Our raw materials are always available, even when production hits its peak; this is because, being located very close to Fushun Petrochemical, we always have a reliable supply of raw materials, and our prices are more competitive. We allow you to choose the density exclusively and the foaming ratio of packaging for food that can be swapped to different molds, and also if you want, we can give you the tips for the process based on your equipment. We have a thorough quality system; our products meet the respective national standards and are ISO certified. In that way, food packaging customers—especially those who export—are assured of smooth audit passages and full compliance and quality from the raw materials to the finished product level.

FAQs:
Q1: Won't the color of foam boxes made from graphite EPS affect customers' acceptance to buy? Generally not.
The grey color actually looks cleaner and more premium, and many food and cold chain customers find it more acceptable.
Q2: Can EPS Raw Material Black Granules be used for disposable food packaging as well as reusable containers?
Both applications are suitable. Single-use products utilizing the material benefit from good insulation, while the reusability feature will be the biggest advantage of the latter.
Q3: Would it be possible to use the same type of black EPS Graphite granules for making foam boxes of different thicknesses?
Yes, foaming ratio and density can be adjusted perfectly to meet different thickness/stress requirements.
Q4: Will graphite EPS affect the safety of food packaging or produce any odor?
No. Graphite is a stable inorganic material, it is evenly distributed within the particles and will not release odors or migrate into food. The molded foam structure is clean and odorless.
Q5: Different customers have different requirements for foam boxes. Can you provide customized solutions?
Yes, we provide graphite EPS raw materials with different densities, foaming ratios, and strength ranges to packaging manufacturers' actual needs, and we can provide process suggestions tailored to your molds and production lines.
