To ensure consistent and reliable performance in every batch of EPS, Fushun Daluwang Composite New Materials Co., Ltd. has established a dedicated independent laboratory. Our lab not only conducts fundamental raw material testing but also monitors every stage of the production process scientifically, ensuring the EPS pellets produced consistently maintain superior quality.


Prior to production commencement, our laboratory rigorously screens all raw materials, examining critical indicators such as purity, polymer content, and polymerization inhibitor concentration. Only materials meeting strict standards proceed to subsequent processing, laying the foundation for consistent foaming performance. During EPS polymerization and screening, the laboratory continuously samples semi-finished products. By monitoring indicators like particle size distribution and viscosity, we fine-tune process parameters to keep the production line operating at peak efficiency. This dynamic monitoring significantly reduces batch-to-batch variation, ensuring customers achieve consistent foaming rates and molding performance regardless of the batch used.

After products come off the production line, the laboratory conducts more comprehensive performance testing, including expansion ratio, volatile content, moisture content, and particle size distribution. The laboratory plays an especially critical role for high-standard products like graphite-grade EPS and flame-retardant EPS. We rigorously test the flame-retardant properties of every batch to ensure compliance with national standards and meet the heightened safety and stability requirements of industries such as building insulation, cold chain transportation, and precision instrument packaging. Simultaneously, the laboratory conducts long-term performance simulation tests, such as thermal cycling and dimensional stability testing, to prevent issues like excessive shrinkage, fracture, or performance degradation during actual application.


Beyond internal quality control, the laboratory frequently provides technical support to clients. Given that each client's equipment steam pressure, mold structure, pre-foaming system, and target density vary, our laboratory simulates processes based on specific application scenarios to achieve optimal molding results. This includes testing foaming rates under different steam pressures, molding times at various densities, and optimal foaming ratios for materials with different applications. Through this data, we provide clients with precise usage parameter recommendations, helping them reduce trial costs and enhance production efficiency.

The laboratory also shoulders responsibilities for product traceability and problem resolution. All testing data is systematically recorded. Should customers encounter usage issues, the lab can swiftly pinpoint causes through batch data, investigating multiple dimensions including raw materials, processes, and environmental factors to provide precise solutions. It is precisely this rigorous testing system that enables our EPS products to deliver stable performance, consistent batches, and reliable usage.
