KUNMING, CHINA – June 16, 2026 – The 10th China-South Asia Expo was held at Kunming Dianchi International Convention Center from June 10 to 16. Fushun Daruwin Composite New Materials dispatched a sales and technical team to exhibit full lines of modified EPS beads, demonstrating our production capacity, modification technology and complete export certifications to buyers from South and Southeast Asia. The exhibition achieved four core objectives including brand promotion, customer resource accumulation, channel negotiation and cross-border logistics matching, gathering valuable resources for further development in RCEP Southeast Asian markets.

1. Expo Background & Participation Plan
As a core cross-border trade platform covering all RCEP member states, the China-South Asia Expo attracts professional purchasers from thermal insulation, cold chain and packaging industries. Driven by the growth of infrastructure, fresh cold chain and exterior insulation industries across Southeast Asia, the market maintains steady demand for flame-retardant, high-insulation and stable-supplied EPS raw materials. Importers focus on factory direct supply, RCEP tariff reductions and one-stop China-Laos Railway logistics solutions.
Fushun Daruwin is a high-tech EPS manufacturer based in Liaoning with an annual output of 240,000 tons. Our product range covers graphite EPS, flame-retardant EPS and lightweight packaging beads with complete MSDS, dangerous goods packaging and export certificates. Previously, our Southeast Asian customer resources were scattered without stable local distributors, so we attended the expo with clear targets: raise regional brand awareness, develop stable overseas buyers, negotiate regional agents and sign long-term cross-border logistics cooperation.
2. Booth Display & Core Product Advantages
Physical EPS samples, third-party test reports, automated production videos and bilingual brochures were displayed on site to illustrate product features and applicable scenarios:
Graphite-modified EPS with low thermal conductivity, ideal for exterior walls and cold storage panels in hot tropical regions;
Flame-retardant EPS complying with international construction safety standards to eliminate export compliance risks;
Lightweight standard EPS with high foaming ratio to cut raw material costs for packaging manufacturers;
Fast-molding EPS shortens downstream processing time for mass production packaging factories.
During the 7-day exhibition, we received 68 groups of domestic and foreign merchants, including 31 professional overseas buyers from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia and Laos. A total of 60 valid customer files were archived, greatly improving Daruwin’s brand recognition in the South Asian EPS raw material sector.
3. Practical Exhibition Achievements with Moderate & Realistic Data
(1) Sample & Trial Order Intentions
We reached sample cooperation intentions with 15 overseas buyers with total intended sample volume of 380 tons, mainly graphite and flame-retardant EPS. Clients agreed sample delivery after the expo, with formal trial order talks to follow if test results meet standards. In addition, 6 enterprises released long-term procurement plans with total intended purchase volume of around 800 tons for the second half of the year.
(2) Breakthrough in Regional Agent Channel Negotiation
We communicated with 5 local trading agents and signed preliminary memorandums with two partners based in Yangon, Myanmar and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The two cooperators have mature local distribution networks for construction and packaging materials, with intended annual minimum orders ranging from 300 to 600 tons. Formal distribution contracts will be confirmed after sample testing and factory inspection, filling our gap in Southeast Asian local distribution channels.
(3) Established Cross-border Logistics Cooperation
Letters of intent for long-term cooperation were signed with two local Yunnan customs clearance and railway logistics companies, securing stable freight space on the China-Laos Railway. Integrated door-to-door delivery, certificate of origin application and tariff calculation services are available to lower operational costs for small and medium importers.
4. Market Demand & Industry Pain Point Analysis
Through rounds of business talks, we sorted out real market demands and pain points across Southeast Asia:
Buyers in tropical regions prioritize high-insulation graphite EPS, while inland markets such as Myanmar and Laos favor cost-effective lightweight EPS. Flame retardancy is a mandatory requirement in all target countries.
Local small-scale raw material suppliers usually suffer limited production capacity and unstable product indicators, making large formal manufacturers our preferred partner for bulk purchasers.
Overseas clients attach great importance to RCEP tariff incentives, fast sample delivery, flexible small orders and multilingual instant communication.
Our 240,000-ton stable production capacity, full export qualifications and customizable services precisely match market demands and build unique competitive strengths.
5. Shortcomings Identified & Implementation Plan for H2 2026
Existing Deficiencies
Only Chinese-English promotional materials were prepared, without Thai, Vietnamese and Burmese datasheets, reducing communication efficiency with non-English speaking clients;
Simple portable thermal conductivity demonstration tools cannot fully visualize the superior insulation performance of graphite EPS;
Low update frequency on overseas social media led to weak linkage between online promotion and offline booth.
Follow-up Actions
Tiered customer follow-up: All potential buyers will be contacted within 3 working days; key clients from Thailand and Malaysia will be invited to our factory in July. Volume-based annual rebates will be offered to intended agents.
Promotional material upgrade: Complete multilingual product datasheets and portable performance demo kits in July.
Overseas digital marketing: Publish expo footage and factory production videos on LinkedIn and Facebook with targeted traffic delivery for Southeast Asian construction material buyers.
In-depth channel development: Track sample testing progress of prospective agents, consolidate long-term railway freight cooperation and launch country-specific all-in quotation templates.
Product optimization: Adjust graphite EPS formula to enhance stability under high-temperature storage; lower minimum trial order quantity to fit purchasing habits of small and medium Southeast Asian importers.
6. Conclusion
Participation in the South Asia Expo marks a vital milestone for Daruwin’s layout in RCEP southern markets. Leveraging this national-level foreign trade platform, we fully demonstrated the strength of domestic large-scale EPS manufacturing and modification R&D, accumulating dozens of accurate overseas buyers and multiple potential regional agents, as well as establishing stable cross-border logistics partnerships.
With continuous expansion of infrastructure and cold chain industries in Southeast Asia, demand for energy-saving thermal insulation EPS raw materials keeps growing. The company will accelerate customer follow-up, channel implementation and localized product improvement. Supported by stable production capacity and complete export qualifications, we will steadily deepen our presence in South and Southeast Asian markets, seize policy dividends from RCEP and the Belt and Road Initiative, expand overseas business scale step by step, and achieve long-term win-win cooperation with purchasers worldwide.
